Mast-san, a member of the three-person entertainment band "Kiyama Shoten." Until now, he has been touring the country for live shows and hasn't had much time to spend on the island, but for the past year and a half, has alwaysBeing on the island made him realize once again how wonderful it is.

A cape located north of Hoshino Village. "Even the islanders don't know about this place, but if you just go a little way off the ring road, the scenery is amazing." Head north from the town, pass Hoshino Village and turn right.

He often comes to Akasaki on the Sakieda Peninsula to fish, and the long, stretching beach is very pleasant. "You can see the mountains, and it's a natural beach, which is nice."

I come to this shop almost every day to buy sashimi. Today I also got some tempura. In Okinawa, tempura is typically made with lightly battered fish or squid.

On the island, there are more sashimi restaurants than fish shops.

Approximately 5 minutes by car

I was munching on tempura just across the Southern Gate Bridge, a blue bridge near the downtown area. This is also a place I often come to for fishing. It's a recommended spot where you can fish close to the city and also enjoy the beautiful ocean view.

Freshly made tempura is the perfect snack!
