Sisters Kazuna Kawai and Miwako Kaneku, who run a fruit parlor
Kazuna and Miwako run the parlor "FARM & CAFE Kourakuen," where they make juices, frappes, baked goods, and more using the island's tropical fruits. They also own a farm where they cultivate guava and dragon fruit. Where do these outing-loving sisters go on their days off?

Located inside the airport, there is an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of the runway, nearby mountains, and the sea on the east side of the island. Miwako loves airplanes, and enjoys watching planes taking off and landing, and the cars working around them. "I sometimes just stare blankly at it for up to an hour while drinking coffee (laughs)."

I love the view from this gazebo, which overlooks both the sea and the mountains, as well as the pleasant greenery of the grasslands. "Sometimes I bring my lunch and enjoy it here," I said. Entering the park's west entrance, walking along a single road, I crossed a bridge.

This parking lot is located on the opposite bank of Kabira Bay, along the circular road. Whenever he passes by here during a drive, he always stops the car and looks at the view. "I like the contrast between Kabira Bay and the pasture."

The view from Mount Yarabu on the Sakieda Peninsula is beautiful and Miwako says it's her favorite. "I love the color of the ocean that can be seen from the mountain."
Take a break...

They arrived there after searching for a spot with no streetlights or houses nearby that wouldn't be disturbed by light. Whenever friends come to visit from the mainland, they always take them to see the starry sky, and "everyone is deeply moved," they say. Entering the main road from the north side of the peninsula, there is an easy parking space about two or three minutes by car past Sakieda Elementary and Junior High School.

After graduating from Yae High School, he studied at a food and beverage vocational school in Tokyo and worked at a cafe. In 2011, he returned to the island and started FARM&CAFE Kourakuen, hoping to create a store that would make use of his parents' fruit orchard.

After working in cafes in Tokyo, she returned to the island and joined the team at Kourakuen, which Wana had just started. At Kourakuen, she is in charge of juices and smoothies.
