Ransa Ishimine, who runs the skincare and fragrance brand "SUNNYTIME," which uses island ginger lily to create mists and oils, and also operates the cafe and bulk-selling shop "Gathering and Relaxing," shared her favorite relaxing spots and places close to home, as she loves forests.
This archaeological site is quietly located on the north side of the Ohama settlement. It is the remains of a settlement from about 600 years ago, with impressive stone walls and ancient tombs still standing. "I like the feeling of being in another world when you go through a tunnel of trees and the ruins suddenly open up." There are entrances to the ruins on both the north and south sides.

This curry and spice shop is located in the woods near the Kawahara settlement. It used to be located in the town center, and the owner has been a regular customer since then. "The curry is excellent, but their island cola, made with home-grown spices and herbs, is also incredibly tasty."
They serve a daily special curry and a drink.

The Firefly Trail in Banna Park is a spot in the forest where you can enjoy watching fireflies in early summer. She sometimes brings her two sons there, and says it's one of her favorite places because "the jungle-like atmosphere is great. It's close to the city, so you can come here for a quick change of pace."

"Gathering and Relaxing" is located inside Momozono Botanical Garden. This spot is right next to the shop, and she says she occasionally drops by to look at the flowers that are in bloom at the time. She prefers being surrounded by greenery to the areas with lots of colorful flowers. "On sunny days, the sunlight filtering through the trees is really beautiful."

Euglena Mall, which has many souvenir shops, has two streets, one of which is Ginza Street. The workshop for 'SUNNYTIME' is also located on this street, and it is "a place where you can relax and enjoy the warm relationships with the neighbors."
